Zone of Architectural Autonomy

 

How do we render Architecture Autonomous? The depository will subject the facade to a serie of operations ranging from re-construction to demolition, from juncture to de-lamination, from disection to phantom collision. 

 

This process will not preserve the facades original state, which in Berlin has already lost its value, but will preserves the cities most important quality: the ability of constantly re-invent itself through time. 

 

This approach will also challange the way in which we exhibit architecture, showcasing the journey of an idea from its birth to its realization rather then an objects finite state.
